Dear Spring, we're all waiting for you to arrive
Is it just me or does it feel like we're living in eternal winter?? Don't get me wrong, I love the winter, I am from Buffalo after all! But I am seriously craving sunshine and warmer days. I've recently been working on engagement sessions, artist exhibitions and planning some family portraits. Sometimes as I'm working I like to look back on previous sessions. The other day I was swooning over this family session again and I realized, I never shared their images on my blog!
Heather and Dukno chose the Wildcat park for their session and I am eternally grateful that they shared this location with me! It is such a lovely secluded spot that is just far enough off the beaten path.
As I compose images during a session, I really try to think about how to tell a story about the person or people that future generations will come to understand and know through these images. They tell so much about the people, the love and their personalities.
I also think about focusing on different people within the composition to highlight one individual within a moment. These photographs, tend to preserve the "everyday moments" we often wish we had preserved years down the line. I consider images that clients would want to "live with" because hopefully, they don't reside on a usb in a desk drawer! I encourage everyone to print their photographs and display them on their walls! Some families are a little hesitant and need some suggestions which is why I am more than happy to follow up and offer display consultations to my clients for no additional cost! I am here for you, from start to finish.
I absolutely loved capturing this little family! You can see from their session that there is no shortage of love, playfulness and admiration! This is why I love what I do! Capturing the real moments of our life story, its a gift not only for right now, but for future generations to come!
I'm currently booking spring, summer and fall 2018 sessions now! Be sure to book your session before dates fill up!
