Jessica & Jonathan
If you know me, you know I'm a sucker for a good love story... Jessica & Jonathan's proposal story is such a sweet mid-western love tale, one that I can picture them sharing for many years to come.
Jonathan had already secretly met with Jessica's father and now he was trying to spend the whole day keeping her in suspense with one surprise after the next. He took her on a little adventure to a paint your own pottery spot in her hometown. This was something Jessica had been wanting to share with him for a while since she herself is an active ceramic artist, she had thought it would be a fun and easy introduction to the medium. Jonathan says he knew it would be a good way to spend a large chunk of time keeping Jessica distracted.
Later that day Jonathan casually asked Jessica if she would like to go for a walk... as they were walking Jonathan asked if she would like one of her Christmas presents early and he got down on one knee!! Plus Jonathan had even asked a friend to hide so they could capture it all for them! So sweet and thoughtful.
After spending the evening with Jessica and Jonathan, getting to know them a little bit, it's clear that they love one another so much and support each other immensely. Capturing authentic moments between these two was incredibly natural because their conversation flowed and the giggles were a'plenty! We started their session at Varsity Donuts because, who doesn't love donuts! Also, I'm slightly obsessed with the old time charm in their shop! We then headed over to campus for a couple of fun spots, we then wrapped up our session at the beautiful Konza prairie which synced up perfectly with the gorgeous sunset.
I am so excited for their wedding, I know they are putting so much heart and soul into all the details and it is going to be so beautiful.
